Day Six: London

Today was the day that our group split up, so our lunches were different.

Mine and Joyce's lunch:

Pizza topped with mozzarella, sausage, and mini-pepperoni.

Clarissa and Sarah's lunch:

Cheese fries and milkshakes that tasted like liquefied pixi sticks
and year-old chocolate.

Dinner was better:

Tomatoes filled with cous-cous and topped with
butter and grated Parmesan cheese and
black beans on the side.

Day Five: London

We first had breakfast at the Hilton where we stayed for one night.

Among the multitudes of food at the buffet,
this self-made waffle with mixed berries
and butter was the most delicious along
with the yogurt, granola, and fresh peaches behind it.

For dinner, we stopped while traveling to the Shakespeare Globe Theatre
and had crappy bagels:

Day Four: Reykyavik to London

We ate crappy airport food.

Day Three: Reykjavik

We went out to try to find some authentic Icelandic cuisine...

My meal was cold herring and egg atop rye bread,
mashed fish atop rye bread,
and rye bread ice-cream topped with whipped cream
and caramel.

Clarissa's meal was smoked salmon,
cream cheese, and lettuce in a
sesame and poppy seed bagel.

Joyce's and Sarah's meals were meat soup,
sliced lamb atop rye flat bread, and
local herbal teas.

Mine was gross.

Day Two: Reykjavik

Pan-fried trout fillet,
saffron-tomato rice, and
freshly diced tomatoes atop iceberg lettuce
with a balsamic vinegar dressing.

Day One: Reykjavik

Cheese-filled Tortellini
served over steamed broccoli.
Topped with olive oil, vinegar,
and freshly-chopped tomatoes
